"The Babysitter" is a short film I’m currently developing in my free time. The story follows a young girl, no older than six, who parents are out for the evening. she creates a paper mask, nbeknownst to her, she is being watched by a mysterious entity hiding in the wings—an unsettling, many-eyed creature. As the narrative unfolds, the being is gradually revealed to be a biblically accurate angel, inspired by the form and movement of a chicken. Though the creature initially appears ominous and threatening, it is ultimately revealed to be a protective presence—her guardian angel.

The maquettes have been constructed for both featured characters. The angel is heavily inspired by mother hens and medieval bestiaries, while the child's design draws influence from the Moomins. These styles have been intentionally reflected in the maquettes, which serve to explore each character's scale, texture, and anatomy.
